So, what’s different in the new trailer? Whilst the previous teasers had more focus on the spooky movement of inanimate objects, this one showcases more of Kipps’ investigation into the house and therefore the small town in which it sits. It introduces more terror with the traditional ‘stay away’ plea, slowly building to glimpses of scenes involving ghostly figures and bringing up questions like, what door has been opened? And can Kipps stop whatever comes through it? The trailer is full of drama and suspense, and looks set to be a refreshing move away from the horror films of late which have opted for the ‘real’, hand held camera horror.
The Woman in Black will be released in UK cinemas on February 10th 2012.
