It’s only a few days until Kapow! Comic Con and we’ve just been told the very exciting news that Green Lantern footage will be shown;
The UK premiere of Emerald Knights, plus footage from Green Lantern never before seen in the UK is certainly something that will make the weekend, if not the year, for all Green Lantern fans.
Emerald Knights, which features six interwoven stories including some of Green Lantern’s greatest characters, is only available in the UK on 7th June 2011 on Blu-Ray.
Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds in the title role and Blake Lively and directed by Martin Campbell will be released in cinemas nationwide on June 17th. In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
