Lord of the Dance 3D Trailer

From the original Lord of the Dance creator Michael Flatley, comes the ground-breaking new movie project: Lord of the Dance 3D. The film uses pioneering 3D technology to give cinema audiences the opportunity to experience the show as never before, and the official trailer is now available below. Filmed over five nights, in two different cities, and using twenty alternating 3D camera angles, audiences are offered a truly unique viewing experience.

Lord of the Dance, a classic tale of Good versus Evil is based on Irish folklore and expressed through the universal language of dance. It premiered in 1996 and audiences will now be given the once in a lifetime chance to see the spectacle on the big screen in spectacular 3D. An acclaimed multi-camera specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the live music industry, director Marcus Viner has collaborated with Michael Flatley to capture the show’s incredible energy and its ability to cross boundaries of age, gender and cultural diversity.

Being the global phenomenon that it is, Lord of the Dance has so far been seen by more than sixty million people in different countries and on every continent.  Presented by Unicorn Entertainment and Dance Lord International, the film has been produced by the pioneering UK-based 3D production company Nineteen Fifteen Productions, in association with ITN Productions.
