The Film Pilgrim was established in August 2010 as a new film blog aiming to entertain and inform the film reader about cinemas newest releases and oldest classics, as well as discuss all the usual news and gossip. Emma Green – Founder/ Editor/Writer
Emma is a Film Studies graduate with a PG Cert in Film Journalism. After writing for various other film sites she decided to set up The Film Pilgrim, and has never looked back.

Kayleigh is an English & Creative Writing graduate who has been obsessed with movies ever since she landed a role as an extra in Saving Private Ryan when she was 8 years old. She writes for numerous publications, including Cosmopolitan, and loves anything to do with Tim Burton…
Alexandra Ferguson
Alex studied Film and Television at Warwick University and graduated in 2009. She is a horror fanatic and is currently hoping to save some pennies to start a Masters degree in the near future
Natalie Gallacher
Natalie has a BA Hons in History and Politics and is currently completing a MLitt in Film Journalism. She loves Stephen King and her favourite film is Stand By Me.
George Harrison
George is a graduate with a BA Honours degree in Ancient History. Film is a longstanding personal passion of his with a particular interest in historical and fantasy film and his favourite director is the great Danny Boyle.
Chris Hart
Chris is a Comparative Literature graduate, with an MA in Publishing. He has a particular passion for science fiction in both literature and film/TV form. His specialist subject would be LOST. His favourite films include: Fight Club, The Fountain, Gattaca, Lost in Translation and The Tree of Life. His two favourite directors are David Cronenberg and Terrence Malick.
Sara Hemrajani
After studying politics and economics at undergrad level Sara is currently studying for an MA in International Journalism. She harbours a secret love of musicals, Hollywood classics and Disney animations.
Kevin Knapman
Kevin works full-time but his true passion is cinema. An unhealthy and nostalgic obsession with 80′s movies aside, he’ll watch pretty much anything and loves writing reviews for The Film Pilgrim when he gets the chance.
Nicola Lampard
Nicola is a recent Sociology and Media graduate and is now studying part time for a MSc in Culture and Society. She enjoys writing for The Film Pilgrim at every opportunity and her favourite film genre is documentary.
Kieron Moore
Kieron will begin his degree in Film and Television Production at York University this year. He enjoys writing about film, has an interest in German cinema and can’t decide on his favourite movie (though if pressed, the names Blade Runner and Pulp Fiction may come up).
Charlotte Quamina
Charlotte is a BA Fashion Promotion graduate who, much to her tutors’ dismay, wrote her dissertation on her favourite film, Shaun of the Dead. She currently works as a freelance journalist and PR consultant.
Sam Tipton
Sam is a recent English & Film graduate, now studying for an MA in Philosophy and writes articles for the Film Pilgrim when he gets the chance. His favourite films include: Withnail & I, The Big Lebowski, and Pulp Fiction
